Ask the Home Economist
Q. Do you have a recipe for a lite or fat free dressing that isn't thin and water-y. Most reduced fat dressing recipes I've tried don’t cling to the salad greens.
A. If you like bottled raspberry vinaigrette, you'll love this!!
Easy, Homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette
Enough for 2 to 4 salads
Ingredients
1/4 cup of raspberry jelly or jam
2 to 4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar (to taste)
Directions
Whisk together. That’s it! Ready to use. Or chill so the flavors can meet and mingle. It will get a bit thicker, too.
Keeps indefinitely in the fridge. May separate so shake before using.
