Ask the Home Economist
Q. Do you have a recipe for a lite or fat free dressing that isn't thin and water-y. Most reduced fat dressing recipes I've tried don’t cling to the salad greens.
A. If you like bottled raspberry vinaigrette, you'll love this!!
Easy, Homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette
Enough for 2 to 4 salads.
1/4 cup of raspberry jelly or jam
2 to 4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar (to taste)
Whisk together. That’s it!
Ready to use.
Or refrigerate to let flavors infuse and thicken a bit.
Keeps indefinitely in the fridge.
May separate so shake before using.
